Sonotube® Concrete Paperboard Column Forming Tubes
Paperboard column forms are a staple for the construction industry. Fiber column forms are a single-use, lightweight alternative to fiberglass and steel column forms.
Form Tech sources our column forms from both Greif® and Sonoco. Commonly stocked products include Greif® EasyPour™ and Sonoco Sonotube®. Premium versions available upon request in EasyPour™ Professional Seamless, Finish Free®, and Economical Engineered column forms.
Available in Diameters of 8”, 14”, 18”, 24”, 28”, 30”, 36”, 42”, 48”
Standard Height 12'. Diameter sizes 6" to 60" available upon request.
Nesting is a common practice with column forms. Nesting is where one column form is fitted inside the same diameter tube creating a slight variation in true diameter of each form. This practice is done to lower the transit costs of large orders of forms.
Applications
Sonotube® has multiple applications. A few include columns for residential and industrial structures, pole bases, barrier posts, concrete bases for 4x4 and 6x6, pilings for homes and decks, deck columns, and fire pits/rings.
